Maintenance
Royalty Line cutlery in stainless steel requires little maintenance. However, it is wise to take some precautions. Since Royalty Line's knives must remain sharp for a long time, the cutting part is made of special knife steel. This steel is sensitive to prolonged exposure to aggressive detergents and moisture.

To enjoy your knives for a long time, place them in the cutlery basket of the dishwasher with the cutting part facing up. If you open the door of the dishwasher immediately after finishing the washing program, the steam will flow out and you can dry the cutlery from the machine.

Handwash
All Royalty Line cutlery is dishwasher safe, but hand washing is still the best way to clean cutlery. If you wash cutlery immediately after use and dry it properly, you will never experience any problems.

Dishwasher
Cleaning cutlery in a dishwasher is significantly more aggressive than washing by hand. Strong chemical cleaners, long hours with cutlery in the machine, prolonged exposure to chemicals at high temperatures and softening salts are some of the factors that can cause stains and corrosion on cutlery, especially knives.

Points of attention when using a dishwasher
• Rinse remaining food briefly under a running tap immediately after use, so that cooking salts and acidic food residues cannot affect the cutlery.
• Place knives in a separate basket to prevent contact with silver and other metals.
• Place all cutlery with the stems downwards in the baskets so that the rinsing water can drain properly.
• Dose detergent and water softener according to the instructions. Use only good quality products. Some well-known detergents are also less suitable for cutlery.
• Never leave damp cutlery in a closed machine.
• Open the dishwasher door immediately after finishing the washing program to let the steam escape.
• Dry any damp cutlery thoroughly.
• Check the blades for stains and remove them immediately with a polishing agent.

Disposal means that a client has goods that they wish to sell. For example, it may be a supply / storage that is needs to be emptied, or that the company has restructured and does not need office space / equipment / etc anymore. This differs from bankruptcy since it's a voluntary sale.

Three ways to bid

Classic - The bidding is fully handled by the system. The goal is to always place a bid right above the competing bidders but no more than that. The bidding service automatically places bids in your name up to your maxbid. The minimum bidding intervalls vary between items.


Comfort - Works like the Classic bid but with the difference that the system takes the current bid and reserve price into consideration in the cases there is one. A good choice if you know you’ll bid high but don’t want to get caught up in bidding below the reserve price.


Active - The bid will be the one you place and is handled manually. Good to use if you want to place a large bid from the start and take home the whole auction, but requires attention from the bidders part in case other bidder might have maxbids in place.

No reserve price

There is no reserve price for this item. That means that the highest bid will always be a winning bid.

Reserve price not reached

The bid has not yet reached the reserve price which is the price that the seller is willing to sell the item for. If the auction ends without the reserve price being reached, one of the following will happen. 1) The seller accepts the bid and an invoice is sent to the bidder within 3 working days. 2) A representative from PS Auction calls the bidder to negotiate the price within 3 working days. 3) The seller does NOT accept the bid. The item is either not sold at all or re-auctioned.

Reserve price reached

The bid has reached the reservation price the seller is willing to sell the item for. Unless something unforeseen happens, the bidder will receive an invoice for the item after the auction has ended.
