Nord 3 is a sturdy stove with a curved front. Nord 3 has a massive handle on the stainless steel lid, and the air control at the bottom is made of stainless steel. The combustion chamber is large with plenty of room for larger logs. The deep combustion compartment consists of heavy cast iron.
There is an option for connecting to fresh air (optional). The fresh air system helps to ensure that the stove constantly receives the necessary oxygen to ensure clean and efficient combustion. The fresh air system consists of a hose (typically Ø100 mm), as well as a grill for placing outside the house. The hose can either be moved out of the wall behind the oven through the floor and onwards. Especially in many new or newly renovated houses it is necessary to ensure extra oxygen supply. Houses with Genvex systems, it is also a good idea to use a fresh air system. Genvex creates a slight negative pressure in the house, and the wood burning stove will therefore have a lack of oxygen and will be unable to burn properly without extra oxygen supply.
The wood combustion chamber is isolated with "Vermiculite" - a material that can withstand high temperatures (+1100 degrees) and is based on natural minerals. This means that the oven achieves a high combustion temperature and ensures better degassing of the wood.
All Jydepejsen stoves are equipped with DuplicAir®, which ensures easy and user-friendly operation, where the heat is regulated using a turntable. "DuplicAir" or "DIR" allows you to monitor your stove's firing history, chimney draft and temperature directly on your Smartphone or Tablet. With Duplicare you save logs and be environmentally friendly.
The stove is equipped with an ashtray, a combustion compartment lid and a fresh air intake.
