The pump is specifically adapted for cultivation solutions where you want to be able to store nutrient solution in a pressure vessel with a maximum pressure of 10 bars without drawing too much power and have the option of running the pump from a 12 volt battery, or solar cells.
The pump could also be well suited for drip irrigation systems.
