Cooking with induction
Induction is a modern cooking method that uses electric induction instead of traditional heating elements. The heat is only generated at the bottom of the vessel and the surface of an induction hob remains cool and touchable during the cooking process. This reduces heat loss and makes cooking more energy efficient. With 4 heating zones, you get more than enough space for pans and pots.
QuickStart
The appliance automatically detects which heating zone you have placed your pan in, so you can start cooking in a few seconds. For safety, SMEG also provides protection against automatic start.
PowerBoost
Save time on cooking. This modern induction hob is equipped with the PowerBooster function for even faster heating on all zones.
Automatic forehead recognition
With automatic pan recognition, you only need to place the pan on the stove and the hob will find the matching area automatically.
Residual heat
The residual heat indicator indicates whether the zone is hot or not, giving you the chance to use residual heat to heat food faster.
Turn off
