The weight is, for example, lower than the BMW racers used in the Superbike WC. The maximum output is an impressive 215 horses at 13,900 rpm and the torque is specified at 120 Newton meters at 10,000 rpm. The maximum speed has been increased by 300 revolutions from the standard engine's 14,200 to 14,500 revolutions.
The frame is a carbon fiber construction that weighs only 7.8 kilograms. The rims are also made of carbon fiber and here they state that they save 30 percent compared to standard cast aluminum rims. The front fork is an Öhlins FGR300 and the rear is an Öhlins TTX36GP. The brakes are racing brakes from Brembo: GP4 PR Monobloc together with 6.75-millimeter thick 320-millimeter discs.
