Artificial snow facility
The trolley has an electric motor of 55 kW and it has a rated current of 96 Ampere, which is why a fuse of 125 Ampere is sufficient for the feed pump and for the high-pressure pump. 1 soft starter 1 *55 kW is delivered in a ready-made cabinet mounted in the pump trolley. 1 check valve Dim 50 PN40, 1 ball valve Dim 50 PN 40, 1 ball valve Dim 50 PN 25 including funnel, 1 ball valve Dim 15 for drainage, 1 manometer 0-40 bar, 2 thermometers -30 - +40 gr, 1 camlock coupling 2.5” for incoming water, 1 camlock coupling 2” for outgoing water, 1 pressure sensor in case of water loss on the suction side, 1 temperature sensor in case of hot running in the pump, 1 connection hose. Connection of the associated aftercooler for the compressed air is made inside the carriage and connections for cooling water in and out are made on the carriage. Aftercooler included with capacity 12 m3 / minute / (can handle 8 guns)
Dimensions and service The external dimensions of the cart are 1.5 meters wide and 2.5 meters long, which makes it easy to store the cart during non-snowmaking periods. The total weight of the cart with pump and peripheral equipment is 980 kg. The above pump is made by KSB, which is a very large pump supplier.
Info from seller
2 pieces of containers, one 20 feet and one 40 feet. Insulated them and connected electricity, etc. A snow system consists of air and water. To get the air pressure, there are 2 compressors from Altlas Copco GA 37 in one container (the yellow one). However, there are pipes pulled into the container and large air outlets are on the roof.
As for the second container (the gray one), it is insulated with fluorescent lamps and a large electrical cabinet. The container itself is a little crooked in the door but nice inside. In this container there are storage shelves with various hoses and connectors. The pump is also inside here. A pump of the Hoyer brand. It is mounted on a trailer with an electrical cabinet. This "pump trailer" is easy to pull out and you can be mobile with the pump, and if you want to use it for something else. There is an aluminum cover for the trailer that has been removed. Pipes are drawn into the container for the incoming water and air from the compressors. The pump trailer also has incoming and outgoing connectors for water and air, etc.
There is a lot of hose including couplings. The hoses are 20 or 10 meters. There are also short hoses for connection outside at the cannons themselves or in the "Pipe Wells"
Outside there are also some regular water pipes that are included, unclear how many meters, roughly estimated at about 6 meters each. These pipes are connected to the pump and you pull them out to your water source where a pump was located. (This pump is not included!)
Furthermore, there is a fixed "pipe trunk" mounted throughout the hill with "hydrants" (connections to hose). The pipes are aluzinc pipes that can handle high pressure. An air pipe (the narrow one) and a thicker water pipe. At regular intervals there are "Hydrant" connections on these pipes to connect hoses to cannons. Furthermore, there are "Pipe wells" where there are connections to pipes that are laid underground from the "Pipe trunk" out to the fixed cannons (you could say that there are spurs of pipes underground out to each cannon).
There are 8 large cannons with foundations (concrete blocks) buried. The buyer is responsible for digging up the foundations . Then we have 3 mobile small cannons on sleds.
Buyer is responsible for
-water disconnection
-electricity disconnection
-dismantling / dismantling
