Swedish-sold Plymouth Valiant V100 from 1965 which recently appeared in the TV series about Clark Olofsson "Clark".
The Plymouth Valiant was a common car in Swedish traffic in the 60s and 70s, and with its robustness, it was appreciated as a taxi and police vehicle.
The car has been in good original condition, which can be seen from the well-preserved original interior. Solid in body and undercarriage, there is a little rust on the underside of the tub on the left side (see photo).
The engine, which is a straight six of 101 hp, spins nicely and has good traction. It has a 3-speed manual gearbox with steering wheel shifting that works well and the car runs well without annoying rattles or vibrations. Some signs of age such as a little play and wear can be expected but overall a lively 60 year old.
The registration certificate states towing device, parts of the towbar are mounted but the towbar has been removed.
Recently, the car was bought by a company that rents out vehicles for filming and there it was prepared in police version to be in the TV series Clark. The car has been repainted (original color beige) black/white and is shiny and nice, the police text is decals. The red lights on the roof are attached with magnets so no holes in the roof, there is also a searchlight. Various police sirens and a period radio (not connected).
There are air shock absorbers in the rear and a speaker system in the trunk.
The car attracts attention with many happy faces and thumbs up!
Since the car has not been exercised much recently, the brakes may need to be adjusted as it pulls a little to the right when braking hard.
Approved at the last inspection and according to current regulations it is exempt from inspection. Tax exempt.
