After driving his Volvo PV 544 for 14 years, Thore Nordbergh in Långviksmon felt it was time for a change. Therefore, this Volvo 142 De Luxe was purchased in June 1973 from Bil&Truck (now Bilbolaget) in Örnsköldsvik. From that day until October 1998, the 142 served as Thore's work car before it was retired in favor of a Volvo 940 and then became an enthusiast car instead.
Legend has it that the car has never had a single inspection fault in all its history.
The current owner purchased the car from the estate in May 2025 and is therefore the second owner of the car.
The car has cosmetic defects, examples can be seen in the pictures. Among other things, there are rust holes in the front sheet metal under the spoiler, there are rust holes in the right inner fender at the front and also at the rear in connection with the spare wheel wells, you can start to see it.
The interior of the car is nice, the driver's seat has a hole on the side in the upholstery, but overall the interior is complete and neat.
Despite the criticisms, the car makes a nice impression with its extra details such as decorative stripes and blinds.
