This particular model with inboard engine was only produced in 5 copies, one of which was owned by King Carl XVI Gustaf.

This specimen has manufacturing number 298 and Sweet Sixteen is considered to be the first plastic boat manufactured in Sweden.

The engine in the Sweet-sixteen is a Volvo B20 with about 100 hp and a Volvo Penta 200 drive. The engine has run about 20 hours after renovation and has been owned by the same owner for 3 seasons.

The boat is on an unbraked pickup trailer from 1963.
The engine won't start. We don't know what's wrong.
Some of the wood/veneer has come loose in one place and needs to be inspected and possibly replaced.
This is a boat from 1963, and has completely different service and maintenance needs than a plastic boat. Things like the wooden deck should be looked at and maintained annually, and the engine requires a knowledgeable mechanic on Volvo B20 engines.
