On behalf of the bankruptcy trustee, all assets are being sold, including 3,200 bracelets, a website, etc. from a company that has developed its own assault bracelet with an associated mobile application and sold it in its own web shop.
Product description from Safetybycilia's website:
"Cilia's bracelet with built-in assault alarm is a unique alarm product. When you press the bracelet's button, the alarm is activated; emergency contacts & rescuers are notified, your GPS position is shared, an audio recording starts and your mobile screams at maximum volume."
The wristbands are equipped with a button that, when pressed, sends a signal via Bluetooth to the user's mobile app Cilia. The user can select different alarm actions in the mobile app - alarm to emergency contacts and/or so-called rescuers, sharing GPS position, audio recording and the mobile phone screaming at maximum volume. Depending on whether the user is exposed to violence and threats in close relationships or wants to use the bracelet in other contexts, different functions have been used. The mobile app is compatible with both iOS and Android and can be downloaded via the App Store and Google Play.
Currently, approximately 8,600 people are connected to the app, of which 413 are premium users (with wristbands) and the remainder are so-called rescuers. Premium users currently receive three months free and then pay a cost of 29 SEK per month.
