All fuel is forced to pass from the bottom up into the combustion zone where even the smallest particles follow and burn completely before the ash particles leave the combustion cup.
In this way, the burner does not become as sensitive to chips in pellets, which is inevitable when blowing pellets with a bulk car. The design also allows EcoTec to withstand other ash-rich pellets, e.g. bark pellets.
