Now is the time for this underwater craft to find a new owner who wants to take over and explore the seabed.
This submarine has been built for the last four years and no shortcuts have been taken in the completion of a completely unique vehicle. About 2900 hours have been invested and the entire build is carefully documented in both image form and drawing files in Inventor.
The submarine is designed to dive down to 50 meters, but the current operating depth is 15-20 meters.
A 5.5 hp single cylinder air-cooled diesel engine drives the submarine above the surface and an electric motor is used underneath the surface. The electric motor is a 5kW brushless 48volts engine powered by four serial 12 volt battery packs that can easily be charged using the battery chargers shown in pictures. Max speed above surface at diesel power approx. 6-7 knots.
The submarine consists of three sections with front and rear ballast tanks of a total of 720 liters.
Inside the submarine there is all the equipment that may be needed to safely explore and travel underwater, such as;
- Simrad GO7 XSE plotter / sonar system
- Hydrophone system
- Lowrance Link-5 VHF radio system.
- Camera system with 4 cameras in the periscope that sends signal to an internal display.
- Power steering trim and rudder.
- Two headlights for lighting the bottom.
- Analog and digital depth gauge.
- Air compressor.
- lanterns
The submarine is 6.2 meters long and accommodates a grown-up person without problems, but also two people can seat if you want to invite someone on an underwater trip.
2700 kg weight and a total of approximately 3,000 kg incl trailer.
Included in the purchase, all documentation made by the builder, receipts on almost all materials used and a digital presentation of everything that a new owner needs to know about the submarine itself and how to operate it safely.
