Sontara is currently used in a wide range of industries in various industries, including food, varnish, hydraulics, medicine and clean rooms. Sontar cloths can be used in all areas where careful wiping is required.
Nonwoven is defined on the basis of standard SS-EN ISO 9092 and can be briefly described as a fiber material or mesh consisting of continuous fibers, composed either chemically, mechanically, thermally or by solutions. Nonwoven is thus not produced by weaving or knitting like many other textiles, nor is the material produced by a pulp as paper.
