Very beautiful model. Built and lacquered in Valvoline version to mimic Al Unser Jr.'s car circa 1989.
Raco Indycar is an extremely unusual quartz-scale formula car that is produced in about 75 copies.
This specimen has a 22.5 cubic Zenoha engine and a power pipe. There is a gas servo in. The rims are specially made for this particular model, and are made of aluminum.
The engine was started a few years ago, and the car has been at the museum.

Raco was an American manufacturer of radio controlled scale 1: 4 cars. They made many models, but Raco Indy was only made in a limited number, and has become the most desirable model for collectors.
