Volvo Duett PV445 from 1958 with 2700 miles on the meter. Used as commander car in Krokom's fire defense since the car was new until 1991.
The car was sold at auction on Rastplatsen's day on June 14, 1991 at the inauguration of the Krokom Krokviken rest area.
The car was sold by Bilbolaget Strömsund on 10/6 1959 to Blåsjönkraft AB Gäddede, the car was then painted gray. The power company canceled their purchase and instead chose to use Volvo Valp, whereby the fire defense in Krokom instead bought the car and repainted it in red and mounted red light, siren and extended towbar with 60-ball.
The current owner bought the car in 1995 and has repainted it and renovated the original engine during the 90's. In addition, an Albin engine sprayer API-900 -1959 was purchased, which served in Länghem's fire defense until 1995. The sprayer has been included in the car hits over the years but has also come into use when flooding in the owner's basement.
Various documentation is included with the car, including a lot of inspection documents that support the low mileage. Rust has begun to creep into the screen edges at the back, but overall the duo gives a good overall impression.
