The ship was built in 1956 on the Hälleviksstrand Shipyard. Purchased by the foundation in 1992 and subsequently rebuilt to sailing school ships 1992-1996 for 42,000 hours!
The vessel has been maintained and renovated throughout the years. The work has been carried out voluntarily and on turns. Among other things, the stern was changed on turns 2015 at a cost of about SEK 800,000. Sails, rigs and pads are stored in a storage room in Uddevalla.
