Ford Thunderbird Hardtop from 1960.

The car gives a good first impression, of course there are paint damage, scratches and cosmetic damage that can be fixed if you want it in very good condition, but is a very nice example to either drive it as is, or to renovate it to original condition.

When the original engine began to draw oil, it was replaced with a Ford 390 engine with associated gearbox a number of years ago. The original engine remains and is included in unknown condition if desired (see picture)

In addition to the engine, it comes with a lot of parts, including the original frames for the front seats when these were replaced with other seats, as well as some chassis parts, etc. as many parts are available for restoration to original condition.

Mileage unknown as the speedometer is not connected, last recorded mileage at the last inspection is 86999km, but we do not know if this is correct.

Undercarriage treated 2 years ago.

The car has been used very sparingly in the last 2 years, so it smells a bit trapped in the car as it has been in storage.

We have not performed any tests of the vehicle.

Payment must have been received by us before you can pick up the goods, so pay in time. 
Invoice copy and proof of payment must be brought to the pick up. The buyer shall at the appointed time arrange collection, any disassembly / packing of the item.

Disposal

Disposal means that a client has goods that they wish to sell. For example, it may be a supply / storage that is needs to be emptied, or that the company has restructured and does not need office space / equipment / etc anymore. This differs from bankruptcy since it's a voluntary sale.

Three ways to bid

Classic - The bidding is fully handled by the system. The goal is to always place a bid right above the competing bidders but no more than that. The bidding service automatically places bids in your name up to your maxbid. The minimum bidding intervalls vary between items.


Comfort - Works like the Classic bid but with the difference that the system takes the current bid and reserve price into consideration in the cases there is one. A good choice if you know you’ll bid high but don’t want to get caught up in bidding below the reserve price.


Active - The bid will be the one you place and is handled manually. Good to use if you want to place a large bid from the start and take home the whole auction, but requires attention from the bidders part in case other bidder might have maxbids in place.

Service fee

Service fee is the fee that PS collects from the bidder for the use of our bidding service

No reserve price

There is no reserve price for this item. That means that the highest bid will always be a winning bid.

Reserve price not reached

The bid has not yet reached the reserve price which is the price that the seller is willing to sell the item for. If the auction ends without the reserve price being reached, one of the following will happen. 1) The seller accepts the bid and an invoice is sent to the bidder within 3 working days. 2) A representative from PS Auction calls the bidder to negotiate the price within 3 working days. 3) The seller does NOT accept the bid. The item is either not sold at all or re-auctioned.

Reserve price reached

The bid has reached the reservation price the seller is willing to sell the item for. Unless something unforeseen happens, the bidder will receive an invoice for the item after the auction has ended.
