Very unique pedal car, 1951 Austin J40.
The car is renovated. New lamps, leather upholstery, battery, tires and more. The car is in a very patinated condition.
The joints to the tramps are working, but it is not test run.
The bear in the pictures is not included.
Emblems in the front were not available at the first shooting, but are mounted on the car now. See later picture on the front.
The Austin J40 was manufactured by the Austin factory in Wales between 1950 and 1971. The production was a collaboration between the English state and Austin, to provide occupationally mined workers with employment.
The remaining J40s are desirable among collectors, especially in England. Bla runs a tram car race every year on the enchanting Goodwood in conjunction with the Goodwood Revival. See link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWVk7TcKsxM
