Here we have a real cult American. Plymouth came with its Barracuda model in 1964 and attracted a lot of attention with its fast-backed body with the large rear window. The first generation was only manufactured in the years 1964-1966 and the model is in demand today.
This copy is sold in Sweden and also an original V8 car. The original engine, which was a 273, has recently been replaced with a 360 with significantly more power, and has also been converted to an automatic transmission.
The car is in great condition and breathes 70-80s with its Cragar rims!
History:
The car has a unique history, I bought it from the Mopar legend "Baron in Bettna" estate. The car has been parked for a long time before I bought it. When I found it, the original 273a was equipped with a Holly lighthouse. Unfortunately, the engine was cut and two pistons were stuck, original 904 gearbox was in the car. Equipped as a Plymouth Barracuda Commando with servo assisted disc brakes front 10 inch drums rear, large rear axle 8-3 / 4. Sat 7 !!!! leaf springs on each side.
It was rusted sometime in the 80s and 90s, has had "new" sheet metal screens since that renovation. It was painted in connection with that renovation. Have polished up the paint now so it looks really good, some minor damage is of course Be totally stainless in when I bought it, there are traces of rust repair in the floor.
Original Build scheet found under the driver's seat!
The car is inspected forever. And has the following equipment,
The engine is a slightly tuned 360 that was renovated many years ago but not run before I bought it, there is a receipt for the renovation. Now equipped with an Edelbrock 600 and Edelbrock intake.
Mopar's electronic ignition is in the car, very unusual.
727 gearbox, reviewed with new filter belts etc. before installation which, among other things, required shortened gimbal. Wire control of kick down.
üThe instruments are renovated and working. How many have a working fuel gauge? Unfortunately, the oil pressure gauge broke 3 weeks ago. A loop in the instrument went off. Hence external oil pressure gauge.
Everything in the brake path is new, brake pipes, connection hose, brake cylinders, belts, springs etc. at the rear. Up front, there are new brake pipes, connection hoses, new yokes and linings. The entire Master Cylinder with servo is also new. The car rivets only when you touch the pedal. Also equipped with Linelock with button in the center console
Original upholstery that is in fantastic condition except for the driver's seat which has cracks in the seat. As the crown of the work, it is equipped with reasonably worn patinated Cragar SS rims
