The Original is the first, 100% in-house designed Timeless watch and as such embodies the spirit and soul of the brand which is inextricably linked to northern Scandinavia, a land of purity, simplicity and outstanding natural beauty.
In this arctic region, time stands still with endless summer days and long winter nights enveloping the natural world in serene peace, dazzled only by the magical colors of the mysterious Northern Lights.

As you would expect from a Scandinavian watch, Original also expresses the simplicity, minimalism and functionality of all great Scandinavian designs with crisp, clear and clean lines without fuss or unnecessary complexity. As such, Original was designed for both men and women who share the ideals of modern Scandinavian lifestyle and who seek a life that is simple and pure at its core.
The original has a 40mm stainless steel case, which is also available with a PVD finish in black, yellow gold and rose gold, and houses a Swiss-made quartz movement that ensures accurate timekeeping at all times, whether on the wearer's wrist or in rest. Minute and hour markers are bold and simple, while a choice of white, blue, gray or green dial protected by a sapphire, scratch-resistant crystal provides optimal clarity and legibility.
Maximum functionality is further ensured by a quick release mechanism for all straps/bracelets, allowing each watch to be dressed up or down, in just seconds, to suit the wearer's mood and any occasion, formal or informal. Straps come in a wide range of materials, including leather and rubber, while two stainless steel bracelets, Milanese (or mesh) and linked, provide two more options.
Finally, the Original has a number of unique design features inspired by its birthplace, including:
- A decorative crown - each crown is shaped like the gooseberry, a rare, highly prized berry that grows wild in northern Scandinavia for just a few short weeks each summer. We chose to decorate the original with this natural jewel and give it the special distinction of being placed next to the 4 o'clock marker.
- Ornate dials – each dial is uniquely decorated with a series of concentric circles to reinforce the Arctic Circle that runs through the heart of northern Scandinavia, representing both an important geographical and psychological boundary.
- Quilted leather straps - inspired by the Sami people who live in northern Scandinavia and whose traditional textile designs often feature diamond shapes, each leather strap is diamond stitched creating a luxurious quilted look and texture.
- Colored seconds hand – each dial has a seconds hand whose color contrasts with the minute and hour hands. These colors are inspired by colors common to the Arctic region, from the bright but varied white of snow and ice to the mesmerizing swirls of blue, green and pink from the Northern Lights and the blackness of winter nights.
