ETFE: Ethylene-Tetra-Fluoro-Ethylene

ETFE is an ultra strong fluorine polymer that is corrosion and stain resistant, nonstick and self-cleaning. It retains its clarity (and thus also its superior light transmission) which guarantees that these solar panels work for a long time

Benefits of ETFE:

1: Durability

ETFE film is durable and does not discolour over time even when exposed to chemicals, heat, ultraviolet light or extremely low / high temperatures. Nor does it become structurally weaker with time.

2: Long service life

ETFE is robust, which means only small risks of degradation when exposed to pollutants in the environment.

The fact that ETFE is included in flexible solar panels is fairly new, but ETFE has been used in other appliances where it has shown the same good properties as mentioned in points 1 & 2. Research has shown that ETFE retains its strength, clarity and self-cleaning properties for at least thirty-five years

3: Breach limit:

The breaking point measures how much, at most, a substance can be subjected to ignition or drawing before it breaks. ETFE films are very elastic (up to 600% at the breaking point) but are structurally resistant in all situations

4: Stain resistant and easy to clean

Due to its low coefficient of friction, dust and dirt do not stick to the ETFE film. The surface properties of the ETFE film, e.g. not adherent, makes it difficult for pollutants to get stuck there.

5: Light transmission

ETFE is a transparent lightweight film and is delivered as a single-layer membrane, 0.5 mm thick. It is a great alternative to glass, perfect for flexible solar panels.

6: Fire assessment

National and international fire standards assess ETFE as self-extinguishing.

Disposal

Disposal means that a client has goods that they wish to sell. For example, it may be a supply / storage that is needs to be emptied, or that the company has restructured and does not need office space / equipment / etc anymore. This differs from bankruptcy since it's a voluntary sale.

Three ways to bid

Classic - The bidding is fully handled by the system. The goal is to always place a bid right above the competing bidders but no more than that. The bidding service automatically places bids in your name up to your maxbid. The minimum bidding intervalls vary between items.


Comfort - Works like the Classic bid but with the difference that the system takes the current bid and reserve price into consideration in the cases there is one. A good choice if you know you’ll bid high but don’t want to get caught up in bidding below the reserve price.


Active - The bid will be the one you place and is handled manually. Good to use if you want to place a large bid from the start and take home the whole auction, but requires attention from the bidders part in case other bidder might have maxbids in place.

No reserve price

There is no reserve price for this item. That means that the highest bid will always be a winning bid.

Reserve price not reached

The bid has not yet reached the reserve price which is the price that the seller is willing to sell the item for. If the auction ends without the reserve price being reached, one of the following will happen. 1) The seller accepts the bid and an invoice is sent to the bidder within 3 working days. 2) A representative from PS Auction calls the bidder to negotiate the price within 3 working days. 3) The seller does NOT accept the bid. The item is either not sold at all or re-auctioned.

Reserve price reached

The bid has reached the reservation price the seller is willing to sell the item for. Unless something unforeseen happens, the bidder will receive an invoice for the item after the auction has ended.
