Stutz manufactured cars between the years 1970-1995 and a total of about 600 cars were produced, which makes it an unusual and sought-after collector car today.
As new, the car model was very expensive and it was mostly famous and rich people who ordered a Stutz, Elvis Presley is said to have ordered the first one made.
The driveline is GM (Chevrolet) 350 V8 engine with 350 automatic transmission. Part of the production was done in Italy and each car was provided with an engraved plaque on the hand compartment door. The car was equipped with most of the equipment and with leather upholstery and thick carpets.
This copy has a model designation Stutz IV Porte and is 4-door, it was made about 50 pcs and 2 pcs are supposed to be in Sweden.
The car was imported from the USA to Sweden in 2014 and the current owner has had it ever since.
The car is drivable and works well in the engine and driveline, there are good tires and exhaust systems. The decor is good except for the carpet which should be replaced. On the outside, the car looks ok, but there is some rust and some decorative moldings are worn and some are missing.
In summary, this is a very unusual car with high collector status that is drivable but needs some care to get back to its former glory.
