In 1961, those who thought that the PV 544 Standard and 544 Special were too slow could instead indulge in a 544 Sport. Then, in addition to the nice Sport emblems, they got a B18D engine under the hood with dual SU carburetors that delivered 90 horsepower.
Here we find just a PV 544 from 1961 of this Sport model in a wonderfully patinated condition. Equipped with a towbar and of course also the obligatory 5.5 "wide steel rims. The car starts and goes and even though there is obviously rust on the car, it seems solid underneath.
The headlights do not work, the reason for this is not checked.
Under the hood, it has been cut a little in the front fender to make room for the air filter (see last picture).
A fast-paced piece of the Swedish folk home worth renovating and preserving!
