Opportunity to acquire a BMW R35 from 1948 with associated sidecar.
The vehicle was first put into service in 1950.
Although the motorcycle is not in top condition, it gives a very nice impression. Single cylinder engine delivers 14 horsepower which is delivered to the rear wheel via universal joint. Four-speed gearbox that is operated by hand with a gear lever.
Registration number: Y4688
Frame number: 211532
The vehicle was removed from the traffic register in 1959. The original registration certificate does not remain, but copies have been ordered from the County Archives, so it should be possible to get it back into traffic.
The motorcycle is sold as a repair item. The engine runs but not test started. Some loose parts are present but unclear if complete. The sidecar is disassembled in parts (see pictures) and has no wheels.
A very beautiful motorcycle that looks just as good on the road as eye candy in shop windows.
