Gravity blanket in temperature-regulating cotton satin that is designed to naturally reduce stress, provide relaxation and increased well-being. A good gift for you or loved ones. The heavy blanket helps the nervous system to relax by simulating the feeling of being held or hugged and makes you fall asleep quickly and sleep better.

Compartments filled with hypoallergenic, non-toxic and odorless crystallized sand crystals (not silicone or polyethylene) provide an even pressure that allows the blanket to form close to the body for a comfortable, enveloping pressure - similar to a warm hug. The weight blanket releases a number of the body's own hormones that have an anti-anxiety and calming effect. Blood pressure is lowered, breathing becomes calmer and this makes a significant difference to your sleep quality.

Free from polyester and microplastics

The weight blanket's outer fabric and padding are made of 100% cotton - completely free of polyester and microplastics. The skin cooperates with other organ systems, such as the kidneys, which have the task of cleansing the body. As part of this process, the skin transports waste products through its many sweat glands. Sweating is thus an important and cleansing process for the body and it can be stressful for the body's cleansing system if the sweat glands are blocked by, for example, antiperspirant textiles such as microfiber and polyester. They inhibit skin respiration and you then experience the uncomfortable, sweaty feeling we tend to associate with low breathability.

Safe and secure with Oeko-Tex and CE certification

Beckasin weight blankets are certified by the international inspection body Oeko Tex Association. The labeling means that the textiles have undergone thorough tests and are free from additives that can be dangerous to skin and health.

Beckasin's weight blankets are tested and approved as a medical device. Quality assured through CE certification with classification 93/42 / EEC Medical devices (MDD). Also SGS, Sedex and BSCI.

Washing instructions: In most cases, it is sufficient to ventilate the weight blanket regularly if you use a case and duvet cover. If you still need to wash the quilt, choose a gentle washing program with low spin that corresponds to hand washing. The quilt stays best when it comes to plant drying. Do not tumble dry or iron. It is also possible to steam wash or hand in the blanket for dry cleaning. Shake and ventilate regularly, do not whip or vacuum.

Disposal

Disposal means that a client has goods that they wish to sell. For example, it may be a supply / storage that is needs to be emptied, or that the company has restructured and does not need office space / equipment / etc anymore. This differs from bankruptcy since it's a voluntary sale.

Three ways to bid

Classic - The bidding is fully handled by the system. The goal is to always place a bid right above the competing bidders but no more than that. The bidding service automatically places bids in your name up to your maxbid. The minimum bidding intervalls vary between items.


Comfort - Works like the Classic bid but with the difference that the system takes the current bid and reserve price into consideration in the cases there is one. A good choice if you know you’ll bid high but don’t want to get caught up in bidding below the reserve price.


Active - The bid will be the one you place and is handled manually. Good to use if you want to place a large bid from the start and take home the whole auction, but requires attention from the bidders part in case other bidder might have maxbids in place.

No reserve price

There is no reserve price for this item. That means that the highest bid will always be a winning bid.

Reserve price not reached

The bid has not yet reached the reserve price which is the price that the seller is willing to sell the item for. If the auction ends without the reserve price being reached, one of the following will happen. 1) The seller accepts the bid and an invoice is sent to the bidder within 3 working days. 2) A representative from PS Auction calls the bidder to negotiate the price within 3 working days. 3) The seller does NOT accept the bid. The item is either not sold at all or re-auctioned.

Reserve price reached

The bid has reached the reservation price the seller is willing to sell the item for. Unless something unforeseen happens, the bidder will receive an invoice for the item after the auction has ended.
