A Glastron is being auctioned here, which is one of the oldest and most famous boat manufacturers in the United States.

Technical data according to the manufacturer; Length 757 cm, width 259 cm, depth 95 cm, weight 2000 kg. Engine: Volvo Penta 5.0 GL V8 (petrol) Drive: Volvo Penta SX

The GS249 (24 feet) is a nice model in a modern design and with an appreciated layout with plenty of space. With a midcabin and fold-down large bed in the bow, there is room for 4-5 people. The boat is CE-marked and approved for 8 people. Good standard equipment with, among other things, kitchen area with stove, oven, running water, refrigerator. Toilet with shower facility, water heater (unsafe function according to owner) shore power, etc. Extra equipped with GPS Garmin (fitted this year). There are two chapels, of which the harbor chapel was new in 2021. Fenders, anchors etc. are included.

The boat stands on a nice Bålsta tralier (supplied) (unbraked unrigged) which loads 2500 kg

According to information, the boat was serviced in 2021 and then had an hour meter of approx. 500 hours, this summer the boat has been used sparingly. Winter preserved and set up indoors during winter 2022/23.

External condition: There are several surface tears and rubbing marks, some earlier minor repairs (see photos) that can be made better, can be really nice with a polish. Inside nice and fresh with no major damage. PS has not carried out a technical test on the boat. Despite some remarks, it gives a good overall impression.

According to the user, the boat was functioning normally before it was taken up in October.

Payment must have been received by us before you can pick up the goods, so pay in time. 
Invoice copy and proof of payment must be brought to the pick up. The buyer shall at the appointed time arrange collection, any disassembly / packing of the item.

Disposal

Disposal means that a client has goods that they wish to sell. For example, it may be a supply / storage that is needs to be emptied, or that the company has restructured and does not need office space / equipment / etc anymore. This differs from bankruptcy since it's a voluntary sale.

Three ways to bid

Classic - The bidding is fully handled by the system. The goal is to always place a bid right above the competing bidders but no more than that. The bidding service automatically places bids in your name up to your maxbid. The minimum bidding intervalls vary between items.


Comfort - Works like the Classic bid but with the difference that the system takes the current bid and reserve price into consideration in the cases there is one. A good choice if you know you’ll bid high but don’t want to get caught up in bidding below the reserve price.


Active - The bid will be the one you place and is handled manually. Good to use if you want to place a large bid from the start and take home the whole auction, but requires attention from the bidders part in case other bidder might have maxbids in place.

No reserve price

There is no reserve price for this item. That means that the highest bid will always be a winning bid.

Reserve price not reached

The bid has not yet reached the reserve price which is the price that the seller is willing to sell the item for. If the auction ends without the reserve price being reached, one of the following will happen. 1) The seller accepts the bid and an invoice is sent to the bidder within 3 working days. 2) A representative from PS Auction calls the bidder to negotiate the price within 3 working days. 3) The seller does NOT accept the bid. The item is either not sold at all or re-auctioned.

Reserve price reached

The bid has reached the reservation price the seller is willing to sell the item for. Unless something unforeseen happens, the bidder will receive an invoice for the item after the auction has ended.
