VW Caddy Life is being sold on behalf of bankruptcy trustees. 1.6 liter 105hp diesel engine with DSG automatic gearbox.

The car has been stationary for a couple of years, stored indoors until winter 2022/23 when it was outside. Bad starter battery but started easily with booster. After running for a while, it was tested to start without jump start which worked well, so the battery seems to be charging.

The car has some notes, see below.

Remarks

Crack in windshield in field of view
Summer tires on aluminum rims, worn
Scratches and wear are present on the interior
Abnormal knocking sound from engine that comes and goes.
Noise when turning the steering wheel, more when stationary. Probably belt squeak.
Abraded stone chips and rust attack occur, see pictures
Low beam right does not light up.
Sold as a repair item, more faults may occur.

 

At the last inspection, the car had the following remarks, nothing has been fixed.

Three ways to bid

Classic - The bidding is fully handled by the system. The goal is to always place a bid right above the competing bidders but no more than that. The bidding service automatically places bids in your name up to your maxbid. The minimum bidding intervalls vary between items.


Comfort - Works like the Classic bid but with the difference that the system takes the current bid and reserve price into consideration in the cases there is one. A good choice if you know you’ll bid high but don’t want to get caught up in bidding below the reserve price.


Active - The bid will be the one you place and is handled manually. Good to use if you want to place a large bid from the start and take home the whole auction, but requires attention from the bidders part in case other bidder might have maxbids in place.

Service fee

Service fee is the fee that PS collects from the bidder for the use of our bidding service

No reserve price

There is no reserve price for this item. That means that the highest bid will always be a winning bid.

Reserve price not reached

The bid has not yet reached the reserve price which is the price that the seller is willing to sell the item for. If the auction ends without the reserve price being reached, one of the following will happen. 1) The seller accepts the bid and an invoice is sent to the bidder within 3 working days. 2) A representative from PS Auction calls the bidder to negotiate the price within 3 working days. 3) The seller does NOT accept the bid. The item is either not sold at all or re-auctioned.

Reserve price reached

The bid has reached the reservation price the seller is willing to sell the item for. Unless something unforeseen happens, the bidder will receive an invoice for the item after the auction has ended.
