A nicely rebuilt VW bubble that we are selling for a car enthusiast who, due to his age, no longer uses the car.
The current owner has owned the car since 2013 and he has put a lot of time and money into getting it to the condition it is in now.
At first glance the car looks like a well maintained original car but when you examine the car you see all the nice updates that have been made.
On the outside, screens have been changed to widened ones in fiberglass that are nicely adapted to the body. The paintwork is in really good condition with only a few minor blemishes, when it was repainted all the rubber strips were also changed. On the tailgate you will find a small motif paint of the Pink Panther.
There are genuine Shelby slot mag rims (14") that fit the car perfectly.
The chassis is updated with, among other things, different suspension and front disc brakes.
Inside, it is in a nice original design, some extra gauges and a sports steering wheel have been installed, the front seat belts have been changed to roller belts.
The crowning glory is the engine, which has been renovated and trimmed with many goodies and according to the owner should give approx. 130 hp. The registration certificate states the following: T31B engine changed. The car was inspected in this version no later than 2020-06-03 and according to current inspection rules it is now inspection-exempt.
It comes with a lot of documentation and receipts after the renovation and the owner has made notes (see photos) so the next owner can see everything that has been done to the car. The first original key is available for the car!
